Polystaq, Inc. ("Polystaq," "we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information when you use polystaq.com and app.polystaq.com.
When you create a Polystaq account, we collect your name, email address, and any information you provide during onboarding. When you use the canvas, we store the process maps, documentation, and related content you create. We also collect standard usage data, pages visited, features used, session duration, to improve the product. We do not sell this data.
We use your information to operate and improve Polystaq, send transactional emails (account confirmations, password resets), respond to support requests, and communicate product updates. We may use aggregated, anonymized usage data to understand how the product is used. We will never send marketing emails without your explicit consent.
Your data is stored using Supabase (hosted on AWS) and Cloudflare R2. All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest (AES-256). Process maps and documentation are stored under your user namespace and are not accessible to other users. We perform regular security reviews and follow industry-standard practices.
Polystaq uses the following third-party services to operate: Supabase (authentication and database), Cloudflare R2 (file storage), Vercel (hosting and edge delivery), and Upstash Redis (caching). These services receive only the data necessary to perform their function. We do not share your data with advertising networks or data brokers.
We use session cookies for authentication and small amounts of local storage for UI preferences (theme, canvas state). We do not use third-party tracking cookies or advertising pixels. You can disable cookies in your browser, but some features, including login, will not function correctly.
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your process maps, documentation, and personal information are permanently deleted within 30 days, except where we are legally required to retain records.
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. You can export your process maps and documentation from the app. To request deletion of your account or a copy of your data, contact us at privacy@polystaq.com. If you are in the EEA, you may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by posting a notice in the app at least 14 days before the change takes effect. Continued use of Polystaq after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
